India needs to be self-sufficient in minerals. There is no alternative. It is easy to say, but
difficult to achieve in short period. Traditionally, India remain dependent on foreign
technologies and equipment for mining and mineral processing. Time has come to shake off
the inertia. The country needs to look forward and embrace newer processes.
Globally, mining scenario is witnessing changes. Such changes shall continue to occur in
immediate and also in near future.
