Venari Minerals Secures Funding for Resource Upgrade and Red Mountain Scoping Study
Perth: Venari Minerals Ltd (ASX: VMS) has secured additional funding to advance its exploration and development activities, with the capital earmarked for a mineral resource upgrade and the completion of a scoping study at its Red Mountain Project.
The funding will enable the company to accelerate geological assessments, resource modelling, and technical studies aimed at enhancing confidence in the project’s mineral inventory. The planned mineral resource upgrade is expected to incorporate new exploration data and provide a more comprehensive estimate of the project’s resource potential.
In addition, Venari Minerals will undertake a scoping study to evaluate the technical and economic viability of developing the Red Mountain Project. The study will examine potential mining methods, processing options, capital and operating costs, and the project’s overall commercial prospects.
Company officials said the financing represents an important milestone in progressing Red Mountain towards the next phase of development. The study’s findings are expected to guide future investment decisions and support discussions with potential strategic partners and investors.
The move comes as global demand for critical and industrial minerals continues to rise, driven by the energy transition, infrastructure development, and increasing consumption of battery and technology-related materials. Mining companies are stepping up exploration and project development efforts to capitalize on the growing market opportunities.
With the latest funding in place, Venari Minerals plans to continue advancing the Red Mountain Project while seeking to unlock additional value for shareholders through resource expansion and feasibility-focused technical work.
