Hindustan Copper CMD Participates in Coal India’s International Women’s Day Celebration in Kolkata

Kolkata: The Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Copper Limited participated in Coal India Limited’s International Women’s Day celebration held in Kolkata, highlighting the importance of gender equality and women’s empowerment in the mining and metals sector.

The event brought together senior officials, employees and women professionals from various public sector enterprises to recognize the contributions of women in the industry. Speakers at the program emphasized the growing role of women in traditionally male-dominated sectors such as mining, engineering and heavy industries.

During the celebration, the Hindustan Copper CMD acknowledged the achievements of women employees and encouraged greater participation of women across technical, managerial and leadership roles.
