Adani Group’s copper business arm, Kutch Copper, is targeting an EBITDA of around ₹3,100 crore by FY27 as it scales up operations at its greenfield copper smelter project in Gujarat. The company is steadily progressing towards ramping up capacity, aligning with India’s growing demand for copper driven by infrastructure, renewable energy, electric vehicles, and power transmission sectors.
The Kutch Copper project is a key part of the Adani Group’s strategy to strengthen India’s domestic copper production and reduce dependence on imports. With phased capacity expansion and operational efficiencies, the company expects improved margins and stable earnings over the medium term. The project is also expected to support downstream industries and contribute to the government’s broader manufacturing and self-reliance goals.
